Some weddings feel like they’ve stepped straight out of a storybook, and Emma and Stefan’s was one of them. Complete with a horse-drawn carriage, the most romantic colour palette, and a floral arch that could have made even the Abbey’s stonework blush.

The day began in the charming village of Dinton, where St Peter and Paul Church stood proudly in the summer sunshine. Inside, soft pinks, peaches, and ivory blooms added warmth and elegance, perfectly complementing the sage-green dresses worn by the bridesmaids. The colours felt fresh yet timeless, like sipping champagne while reading a Jane Austen novel.

After the heartfelt vows (and a few discreetly dabbed eyes among the guests), Emma and Stefan made their way to their reception in truly regal style, by horse-drawn carriage. Watching them roll through the countryside felt like a moment from a period drama… except with better florals and far less dramatic family feuds.

Arriving at Notley Abbey, guests were greeted by the showstopper of the day: a grand floral arch framing the front of the building. It was a gentle wave of Roses, Dahlias, and delicate filler flowers in blush, peach, and ivory, a perfect welcome into the celebrations ahead.

Inside the Abbey, the tables were styled with understated elegance. Guest tables each held a simple trio of bud vases, creating a light and airy feel while letting conversation and the laughter of friends take centre stage. The top table, however, went a little bolder where pink taper candles stood elegantly among bud vases and a stunning footed bowl overflowing with blooms, echoing the romantic scheme.
