Chevaughn & Jack’s joyful spring day

There’s something truly special about weddings at Tythe Barn in Bicester. The warm stone walls, twinkling fairy lights, and countryside setting make it the perfect place for a love story to unfold. This March, I had the joy of creating wedding flowers for the lovely Chevaughn and Jack, whose day was filled with colour, laughter, and the prettiest spring blooms.

Their chosen palette of peach, hot pink, and white brought the barn to life, filling the space with vibrant warmth. We used a seasonal mix of butterfly ranunculus, narcissus, and garden roses, along with other delicate textures, to design flowers that felt both romantic and modern.

For their ceremony, Chevaughn and Jack envisioned something atmospheric and full of feeling. Beneath twinkling fairy lights, they exchanged vows framed by a statement broken arch of flowers surrounded by candles, overflowing with layers of spring colour. The aisle was lined with floral meadows, creating the look of a natural garden in bloom. Soft, abundant, and beautifully fragrant.

The wedding breakfast took place at long banquet tables, each one dressed with cut glass flower bowls and bud vases brimming with petite, seasonal blooms. The effect was relaxed and elegant, perfect for a Tythe Barn wedding, where every petal and stem played its part in enhancing the beauty of the space.

Chevaughn and Jack were a delight to work with, thoughtful, kind, and endlessly appreciative. They even prepared gift bags for all their suppliers, a gesture that perfectly reflected their generous spirits.
