On the 7th of June this year, I had the joy of creating the wedding flowers for Kate and Cameron’s beautiful day at Lillibrooke Manor in Berkshire. This charming barn venue is one of my favourites, full of rustic character, pretty gardens and endless opportunities for romantic floral styling.

Kate and Cameron’s brief was one that made my heart sing: a summery wildflower vibe in pastel shades of pink, peach and blue, with pops of brighter pink and coral for a playful, joyful finish. We used plenty of locally grown British flowers, to create that just-picked, garden-fresh feel. The result was a day overflowing with soft colour, texture and natural beauty, the perfect reflection of a relaxed English summer wedding.

Their floral designs were very flower-filled from start to finish. The bridal bouquet was a dreamy mix of seasonal blooms with natural movement and fragrance, creating that just-picked wildflower bouquet look that feels effortless and romantic. The bridesmaids carried smaller, coordinating bouquets in the same pastel palette, which looked beautiful against their dresses.

For the ceremony, we designed a single spray flower moon gate that became a real showstopper. It framed the couple beautifully and brought the feeling of a summer meadow right into the space. Soft peaches, blush pinks, airy blues and coral tones danced together amongst delicate greenery, a combination that felt joyful, fresh and full of life. It was a perfect example of how wildflower-inspired wedding flowers can be both relaxed and elegant.

There were so many lovely personal touches throughout the day. Kate and Cameron arrived in the sweetest baby blue classic Fiat 500, which couldn’t have matched their colour palette more perfectly, and Cameron looked fantastic in his kilt — a nod to his Scottish heritage that added even more personality to their day.

Every detail came together so beautifully at Lillibrooke Manor, and it was such a pleasure to be part of it. I loved creating the pastel wildflower wedding flowers that brought Kate and Cameron’s vision to life, filling their day with colour, fragrance and romance.
