Angie & Dan | Lillibrooke Manor Wedding Flowers

Angie & Dan had the kind of alternative wedding that I love to work on. TheirĀ Lillibrooke ManorĀ wedding flowers were perfectly complimentary to the couple and the surroundings.

I met them both initially over Zoom during lockdown and they were so fun and happy, ultimately they were very laid back.  They had a colour scheme and then left the flower choices down to me. This is great for a florist, as it means we have complete creative control and can chose the best variety of flowers for the season.

Angie had the most amazing shocking pink hair at the time, and so looked beautiful with their colour scheme which was plum, burgundy and Rose gold. With this colour scheme I chose multiple varieties of Roses, including Black Baccara which is the deepest red Rose, alongside nude Roses which had a ā€˜Rose gold’ tone to them. I paired the Roses with other seasonal flowers such as Scabious and Tulips.

At Lillibrooke, Angie & Dan had their ceremony in the small barn where they had their heart set on a ceremonial moongate. A moongate is a large 2 metre circular arch which can be decorated in a variety of ways with flowers orĀ balloons.

At the top of the aisle, I placed a pair of large vase displays on plinths which really suited the space.

TheĀ bridal flowersĀ at this wedding were loose and foliage heavy using Eucalyptus varieties, which gave a softer edge to the bold flower colours.

Fantastic images taken by photographerĀ Kerry Knight.
