When Holly got in touch, it was extra special as she was recommended by her sister-in-law, a close friend of mine. There’s something so heartwarming about being referred by someone who knows how much love and care I pour into each wedding.

Holly and Jack chose the breathtaking Rackleys Barn in Cadmore End, a beautifully restored venue nestled in the Chiltern Hills. Their vision was countryside glam with a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, and it was a joy to bring that to life through flowers.

Their chosen colour palette was soft and romantic, blush pinks, creamy whites, sage green, and the prettiest touches of lavender. I used a mix of seasonal local English blooms alongside my favourite Deutsch flowers including Garden Roses, Stocks, Delphiniums and Alliums, all at their best for this summer celebration.

For the ceremony, we lined the aisle with fresh Rose petals and created a deconstructed floral arch as a natural focal point. Styled with lanterns and soft sashes by Samsa Mays, the setting was stunning.

Rackleys’ mezzanine is one of my favourite features to decorate. For this wedding, we installed five large, wild foliage sprays to add depth and character to the space, lush, textured and completely in keeping with the countryside aesthetic.

As the sun set, the reception sparkled with candlelight, delicate bud vases adorned the guest tables, and the floral arch stayed in place, perfectly framing the views across the rolling hills. It was the most magical day for a truly wonderful couple.

We are over the moon with how our flowers looked on our wedding day. Nicola really helped to bring our vision to life and gave us great advice on which flowers are in season for that time of year. We had lots of lovely compliments from our guests and are so pleased that we have the lovely photos attached to look back on.
