Emma & Carl
A summer wedding at Notley Abbey is nothing short of magical, and Emma and Carl’s celebration in 2018 was no exception—it was a true scorcher! The couple chose this stunning venue for its charm and character, and it was the perfect backdrop for their joyous day.
Their ceremony took place in the beautiful gardens, beneath a historic brick structure, creating an intimate and romantic setting. Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the main dining space, which perfectly combined rustic elegance with timeless character.
The floral scheme was a true reflection of the season, featuring a soft, luxurious mix of pastel shades in a blousy, lush style. Hydrangeas, roses, and peonies came together to create a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. We adorned the aisle chairs with delicate floral ties, and Emma and Carl were framed by two large, overflowing pedestal displays as they exchanged vows, adding a touch of grandeur to the intimate moment.
For the bridesmaids, Emma chose beautiful bouquets of massed carnations. These flowers provided a fantastic alternative to hydrangeas—delivering a similar voluminous, full look, but with the added benefit of lasting longer without wilting in the heat.
Emma and Carl’s summer wedding at Notley Abbey was a perfect celebration of love, with the florals adding an extra layer of beauty and joy to their unforgettable day.
