Carmel and Rob’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of relaxed elegance and personal touches, beginning with a charming ceremony at a quaint church in Sonning, followed by a reception at the impressive Reading Blue Coat School, where the couple had once attended.

The couple wanted their day to feel laid-back, avoiding anything too formal, and allowing the grandeur of their reception venue to shine through. The colour palette was a soft mix of pale blue, peach, lilac, and white, with just the right amount of minimal foliage to keep the floral designs fresh and light.

To create a more casual, organic feel, we designed loose, textured posies for the guest tables. These simple yet stunning arrangements brought a relaxed charm to the occasion. We also adorned their welcome sign and table plan with lovely floral displays, setting the tone for the event’s welcoming atmosphere.

Adding an extra personal touch, Carmel and Rob incorporated unique details into their reception. Mussel shell place settings and real shell table confetti gave the tables a coastal, whimsical feel, while an oyster shucker circulated among guests, providing a fun and interactive element to the celebration.

Carmel and Rob’s wedding was the perfect balance of casual elegance and thoughtful detail, with the florals and personalised touches making their special day truly unforgettable.

Nicola was so friendly and accommodating. This was regardless of whether I wasn’t giving much helpful input or was sending a million and one emails.
No request was too much, which resulted in my cat having her own flower crown for the day!

The flowers absolutely beautiful and it was obvious so much care had gone in to their preparation and assembly. Even my husband, who took no interest in the flowers, was shocked at how incredible they were and what a transformation they made to the reception space.
