Where Garden Elegance Meets Wild Romance

There’s a certain kind of romance that feels a little undone, soft, expressive, and quietly dramatic. Inspired by the wild beauty of Wuthering Heights, this shoot was designed to capture that feeling, where delicate florals feel both timeless and untamed.

Set against the elegant backdrop of Northbrook Park, we layered dusky pinks, warm beige, soft whites and rich plum tones to create a collection of wedding florals that feel romantic, textural, and effortlessly gathered.

The Bouquet

The bouquet was designed to feel natural and expressive, as though it had been gathered from a spring garden just slightly overgrown.

Butterfly ranunculus and garden roses brought softness and openness, while hellebores and narcissus added a seasonal touch. The aim was to make this piece feel natural, yet intentional.

The Palette

The colour story moved gently from muted blush and beige tones into deeper pinks and plum, creating a natural sense of depth without feeling overly structured.

Soft neutrals kept the look elevated and refined, while those richer plum accents added a touch of drama, echoing the moodier, more atmospheric inspiration behind the shoot.

Texture and Detail

Texture played a central role throughout.

Layered petals, delicate centres, and trailing elements created a sense of movement, while the addition of draped fabric and lace in the backdrop softened the overall setting. The combination of textiles and florals brought a romantic, almost nostalgic quality, reminiscent of an old-world garden with stories woven into it.

A key part of this collection was allowing the flowers to move naturally.

By avoiding overly structured shapes and embracing softer forms, each design piece feels light, romantic, and slightly windswept, capturing that in-between space of elegance and wildness.
